Mr. Melkumyan Arman , the Head of Network Management at the National Settlement Depository (CSD of Russia) and Secretary General at the Association of Eurasian CSDs (AECSD), recently paid a visit to the brand-new headquarters of the Association of Africa and Middle East Depositories (AMEDA). During his visit, he had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Riham Khedr, the Secretary General of AMEDA.
The purpose of their meeting was to explore opportunities for collaboration between the two associations and to discuss ways of exchanging information and updates about their respective organizations. Additionally, they took the opportunity to discuss ongoing projects and initiatives of the World Forum for CSDs (WFC).
Mr. Arman expressed his admiration for the impressive new headquarters of AMEDA and extended his best wishes for the organization’s success in its overall development projects. These projects include the enhancement of their website and other expansion endeavors aimed at attracting small emerging markets in Africa to join AMEDA. Furthermore, Mr. Arman emphasized the importance of providing the necessary support and training to these markets to ensure their smooth integration into the organization.
